As a nature lover, I believe in and practice living in harmony with our natural environment. As well as getting out into the fresh air as much as I can, I enjoy painting. I like to use water mediums which reflect our fluidity, impermanence and beauty.

I’ve been blessed to live in some beautiful places in the world. I was born in Edinburgh and had a happy childhood just outside of Crieff in Perthshire. I left Scotland as a teenager and did a lot of my growing up on the Greek Island of Thassos. After seven years, I returned to Scotland to be near family and began the lifetime study of natural health.

Initially I focused on the Western approach, learning sports therapy and rehabilitation, aromatherapy and fitness training. I began studying naturopathy when I moved to Aotearoa/ New Zealand, but after attending an acu-pressure course I fell in love with Chinese medicine and switched my studies, dedicating myself to it full-time for four years. I was also introduced to Vipassana meditation around this time, which has been another continual learning process and practice for me.

I lived in NZ for 22 years, running a clinic in Auckland. Recently my Scottish roots began calling me home, so I’ve come full circle, returning to the land of my birth.

Gratitude to…
